Our hope is for this to not just be a fund raiser, with one night of glory that will be forgotten with the next mornings hang-over, but to be an experience that will change you forever, to discover new ideas and solutions that may resonate in your mind. To create a movement of change in just one, YOU.

For that is how this event came about. Derric Swinfard stumbled upon a video narrated by Paul Watson (see below), the founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. This video featured explicit footage of endangered species of whales and other sea life being ruthlessly butchered by corporate whaling ships for profit.

At first wishing to leave his family and business to join the Sea Shepherd crew that within the span of three decades, have successfully shut down outlaw whaling activities in Norway, Iceland, Spain, and the former Soviet Union. Realizing this was an unpractical solution, he dedicated himself to informing everyone he knew of the cause, in the process collecting donations and confirming a handful of original art from well-know artists with a conscience. The art show benefit was born.

The promise is 100 % of the proceeds, every dime you give, will go to Sea Shepherd. Not one penny will be spent on the organization or production of the benefit, that is our gift to you, with the hope that we can all become a part of the solution and find a hope for the future for us and our children.
